The use of natural clay materials as textile dyeing is an effort to restore the use of natural dyes that are environmentally friendly and leave the use of synthetic dyes that are harmful because they can pollute the environment and have an impact on humans on textile dyeing. This study aims to describe the results of dyeing from natural dyeing, namely tanah liek sawah and tanah liek tebing, as well as the evenness of the colour and the darkness of the resulting colour by using arbor mordant against the results of cotton fabric dyeing with different lengths of soaking. The approach used is experimental with data collection techniques using questionnaires (questionnaires) from 15 panelists. The results of the research on cotton fabric dyeing with paddy field liek soil, obtained a significance of 0.000 which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 or 0.000 <0.05. Then Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a significant effect on the evenness of the colour due to the effect of the use of the type of land liek sawah and land liek tebing with different soaking times on cotton material using arbor mordant. for the results of dark light colour (Value), the resulting colour is not significant> the significance level = 0.439>0.05. This means that there can be no significant difference due to the type of clay used in soaking cotton material with land liek sawah and land liek tebing.Published
