Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian  ini adalah untuk mengetahui diksi puitis yang terdapat dalam cerita pendek karya Taufiq Ismail dengan indikatornya adalah penggunaan majas dalam cerpen-cerpenya tersebut. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengkaji cerpen  adalah metode deskriptif analisis dengan bentuk kumpulan data secara faktual yang terdapat dalam keempat cerpen yang ada dalam himpunan tulisan œMengakar ke Bumi Menggapai ke Langit Jilid 3 karya Taufiq Ismail. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa cerpen-cerpen Taufiq Ismail menggunakan berbagai bentuk majas secara variatif untuk membangun karya cerpen yang utuh. Kata kunci: Diksi Puitis, Majas, Cerpen
