Abstract

Abstract Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tindak tutur direktif pada percakapan Whatsapp grup mahasiswa/i akademik 2018-2019. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui observasi, hasil wawancara dengan mahasiswa/i UNPRI Medan dan dianalisis dengan mereduksi, menyajikan, menyimpulkan data. Pokok bahasan yang digunakan dalam tuturan ini adalah tindak tutur direktif. Dari hasil pemerolehan data terdapat bentuk tindak tutur direktif pada percakapan Whatsapp grup mahasiswa/i akademik 2018-2019 sebanyak 33 tuturan dan hanya terdapat 18 tuturan yang berupa permohonan, perintah, menjawab, meminta, mengizinkan, menyuruh, bertanya, ucapan selamat, imbauan dan larangan.
