PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK TALK WRITE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS DESKRIPSI PESERTA DIDIK KELAS II PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract: This Collaborative Classroom Action Research (PTKK) aims to improve the descriptive writing skills of class II students in Indonesian language subjects at SD Negeri Salatiga 06 through the application of the TTW (Think Talk Write) learning model. The sample in this study consisted of 28 class II-b students. This research uses the collaborative classroom action research model of Kemmis and McTaggart. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis was carried out using descriptive qualitative methods. In precycle activities, writing skills only reached 48% (sufficient). After carrying out cycle I, the average description writing skill reached 64% (good), and cycle II reached a percentage of 88% (very good). Thus, the average increase in writing skills for students in cycles I and II reached 76% in the 'very good' category. Students' skills for each indicator have increased with the following details: the spelling indicator (use of capital letters and punctuation) reached 79% (very good), the text suitability indicator reached 77% (very good), the effective sentence use indicator reached 74% (good), the writing indicator reached 77% (very good), and the writing neatness indicator reached 73% (good). Based on this, through the application of the Think Talk Write model in Indonesian language learning, it is possible to improve the descriptive writing skills of class II students at SD Negeri Salatiga 06. Abstrak: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Kolaboratif (PTKK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskripsi peserta didik kelas II pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD Negeri Salatiga 06 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran TTW (Think Talk Write). Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 28 peserta didik kelas II-b. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi kemudian dilaksanakan analisis dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pada kegiatan pra siklus keterampilan menulis hanya mencapai angka 48% (cukup). Setelah dilaksanakan siklus I, rata-rata keterampilan menulis deskripsi mencapai 64% (baik), dan siklus II mencapai persentase 88% (sangat baik). Sehingga, rata-rata peningkatan keterampilan menulis peserta didik siklus I dan II mencapai 76% dengan kategori ˜sangat baik™. Keterampilan peserta didik untuk tiap indikator mengalami peningkatan dengan rincian sebagai berikut: indikator ejaan (penggunaan huruf kapital dan tanda baca) mencapai 79% (sangat baik), indikator kesesuaian teks mencapai 77% (sangat baik), indikator penggunaan kalimat efektif mencapai 74% (baik), indikator penulisan mencapai 77% (sangat baik), dan indikator kerapian tulisan mencapai 73% (baik). Berdasarkan hal tersebut, melalui penerapan model Think Talk Write dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskripsi peserta didik kelas II di SD Negeri Salatiga 06.Kata Kunci: model TTW (Think Talk Write); keterampilan menulis; menulis deskripsi.Downloads
