PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CORE BERBANTUAN MEDIA PHET UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA KELAS IV

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the CORE learning model assisted by phet media to improve the critical thinking skills of fourth grade students. This research is a quantitative research, type of Quasi Experiment type two group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument used was a test in the form of multiple choice of 15 items, a questionnaire and observation. Data analysis techniques using t-test. Statistical test results showed that the average critical thinking result of students using the CORE learning model assisted by phet media was 76.48, while the results of the critical thinking test of students using conventional learning models were 62.74. The results of the t-test obtained ð‘¡â„Žð‘–ð‘¡ð‘¢ð‘›ð‘” > ð‘¡ð‘¡ð‘Žð‘ð‘’ð‘™ which is 3.404>2.024 and the value of Sig.(2-tailed) < 0.05, namely 0.002 < 0.05. it is stated that ð»0 is rejected and ð»ð‘Ž is accepted. It was concluded that there was an influence of the CORE learning model assisted by phet media to improve the critical thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students.Keyword: CORE Learning Model, Critical Thinking Ability. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajran CORE berbantuan media phet untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, jenis Quasi Experimen tipe two group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes berupa pilihan berganda sebanyak 15 butir soal, angket dan observasi. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan rata-rata hasil berpikir kritis peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran CORE berbantuan media phet sebesar 76,48, sedangkan hasil test berpikir kritis peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 62,74. Hasil uji-t diperoleh hasil ð‘¡â„Žð‘–ð‘¡ð‘¢ð‘›ð‘” > ð‘¡ð‘¡ð‘Žð‘ð‘’ð‘™ yaitu  dan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) < 0.05 yaitu 0.002 < 0.05. dinyatakan bahwa ð»0 ditolak dan ð»ð‘Ž diterima. Disimpulkan ada pengaruh model pembelajaran CORE berbantuan media phet untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SD kelas IV.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran CORE, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis.
