PELAKSANAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN HYBRID DENGAN MENERAPKAN TEKNOLOGI KOMUNIKASI DI SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of implementing a hybrid learning by applying communication technology during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies. Data obtained from interviews and literature studies. Primary data obtained through interviews with informants. Interviews were conducted online and offline. Secondary data will be generated from data collection through literature studies in the form of books, reference journals and the internet. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that during the meeting process and the learning mechanism was arranged according to the policy of the lecturer or the campus. There are two criteria for teachers in providing material, first before learning begins the lecturer provides material in advance so that students can learn it and the second way the lecturer gives an explanation first to students. During the faceto-face learning process, the capacity of students was forced to be limited and for some students who did not participate in the offline learning process, they carried out online learning activities. The process of merging the two learnings is carried out alternately with the intention that all students can be well controlled in the offline and online learning process. Furthermore, there are several obstacles experienced by lecturers and students including a lack of understanding of communication technology, unstable internet connections and barriers to interaction between lecturers and students.Keywords: COVID-19, Hybrid Learning, Communication TechnologyAbstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis proses pelaksanaan model pembelajaran hybrid dengan menerapkan teknologi komunikasi di saat pandemi COVID19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan studi literatur. Data primer didapatkan melalui wawancara terhadap informan. Wawancara dilakukan secara daring dan luring. Data sekunder akan dihasilkan dari pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur berupa buku, jurnal referensi dan internet. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada saat proses pelaksanaan pertemuan dan mekanisme pembelajaran diatur sesuai kebijakan dosen atau pihak kampus. Terdapat dua kriteria pengajar dalam memberikan materi, pertama sebelum pembelajaran dimulai dosen memberikan materi terlebih dahulu agar dapat dipelajari oleh mahasiswa dan cara yang kedua dosen memberikan penjelasan terbelih dahulu terhadap mahasiswa. Ketika proses pembelajaran tatap muka, kapasitas mahasiswa terpaksa dibatasi dan untuk sebagian mahasiswa yang tidak mengikuti proses pembelajaran luring maka mereka melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran secara daring. Proses penggabungan kedua pembelajaran tersebut dilakukan secara bergantian dengan maksud agar semua mahasiswa dapat terkontrol dengan baik di dalam proses pembelajaran luring maupun daring. Selanjutnya, terdapat beberapa hambatan yang dialami oleh dosen dan mahasiswa diantaranya yaitu kurangnya pemahaman mengenai teknologi komunikasi, koneksi internet yang kurang stabil dan hambatan interaksi antara dosen dengan mahasiswa.Kata kunci: COVID-19, Model Pembelajaran Hybrid, Teknologi KomunikasiDownloads
