MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA MELALUI PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN SCIENTIFIC BERBANTUAN SOFTWARE GEOGEBRA PADA MATERI SEGIEMPAT SMP CERDAS MURNI TEMBUNG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran scientific berbantuan software GeoGebra sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII-1 SMP Cerdas Murni Tembung yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dilihat dari hasil tes siswa yang meningkat baik tiap indikator maupun secara keseluruhan. Pada siklus I persentase kemampuan siswa dalam memahami masalah mencapai 86,21% dengan kategori œtinggi, persentase kemampuan siswa merencanakan strategi pemecahan masalah mencapai 77,57% dengan kategori œSedang, persentase kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan masalah mencapai 67,24% dengan kategori œrendah, persentase kemampuan siswa dalam menafsirkan solusi/ mengecek kembali mencapai 50,00% dengan kategori œsangat rendah. Serta persentase rata-rata skor pemecahan masalah secara keseluruhan mencapai 70,03% dengan kategori œsedang. Sedangkan pada siklus II persentase kemampuan siswa dalam memahami masalah mencapai 96,55% dengan kategori œsangat tinggi, persentase kemampuan siswa merencanakan strategi pemecahan masalah siswa mencapai 82,76% dengan kategori œtinggi, persentase kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan masalah mencapai 75,86% dengan kategori œSedang, persentase kemampuan siswa dalam menafsirkan solusi/ mengecek kembali mencapai 70,69% dengan kategori œSedang. Sedangkan persentase rata-rata skor pemecahan masalah secara keseluruhan mencapai 81,03% dengan kategori œTinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran scientific berbantuan software GeoGebra dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. ABSTRACT This study aims to find out how to apply the scientific learning approach assisted by the GeoGebra software so that it can improve student™s mathematical problem solving abilities. The type of research used is classroom action research consisting of two cycles. The subjects in this study were all students of class VII-1 of SMP Cerdas Murni Tembung, totaling 31 students. Data was collected through tests and observations. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed an increase in student™s mathematical problem solving abilities which were seen from the student™s test results which increased both each indicator and overall. In the first cycle the percentage of student™s ability in understanding the problem reached 86.21% with the "high" category, the percentage of student™s ability to plan problem solving strategies reached 77.57% with the category "Medium", the percentage of student™s ability to solve problems reached 67.24% with categories "Low", the percentage of student™s ability to interpret solutions/check back reaches 50.00% with the "very low" category. As well as the average percentage of problem solving scores overall reached 70.03% with the category "medium". While in cycle II the percentage of student™s ability in understanding the problem reached 96.55 with the "very high" category, the percentage of student™s ability to plan student problem solving strategies reached 82.76% with the "high" category, the percentage of student™s ability to solve problems reached 75.86% with the "Medium" category, the percentage of student™s ability to interpret solutions/check back reaches 70.69% with the "Medium" category. While the percentage of the average problem solving score reached 81.03% with the "High" category. It can be concluded that learning using the scientific learning approach assisted by the GeoGebra software can improve student™s mathematical problem solving abilities.
