PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE ( TPS ) MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA PETA KONSEP TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI POKOK SUHU DAN KALOR

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan media peta konsep terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok suhu dan kalor di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Perbaungan  T.P 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan two group pretest“ posttest design dimana kelas X-4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 40 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa dan tes hasil belajar sebanyak 15 soal dalam bentuk pilihan berganda yang telah dilakukan validasi. Hasil penelitian memberikan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa kelas eksperimen meningkat yaitu pada pertemuan I sebesar 59,3%, pertemuan II sebesar 69,2%, pertemuan III sebesar 75,7% dan pertemuan IV sebesar 82,2%. Untuk hasil belajar siswa, dari pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,381 > 1,667 pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hal ini berarti Ha diterima, yang berarti ada pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) menggunakan media peta konsep terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok suhu dan kalor di kelas X semester II SMA Negeri 1 Perbaungan T.P 2015/2016.
