PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INQUIRY TRAINING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA SUB MATERI KEMAGNETAN DI SMP

Telah dilakukan penelitian quasi eksperimen untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inquiry training terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IX semester genap pada sub materi kemagnetan di SMP Negeri 17 Medan T.P. 2016/2017. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX Semester II SMP Negeri 17 Medan yang terdiri dari sembilan kelas. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dua kelas yaitu kelas IX-7 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IX-8 sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 30 siswa yang ditentukan dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 41,000 dan kelas kontrol adalah 40,000 setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan postes dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen 75,333 dan kelas kontrol 63,000. Pada uji normalitas dan homogenitas kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Melalui uji t diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada sub materi kemagnetan di SMP Negeri 17 Medan T.P. 2016/2017.References
