PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA PICTORIAL RIDDLE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASI BELAJAR FISIKA SMA

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi momentum dan impuls di kelas X semester genap SMA Negeri 10 Medan T.P 2018/2019 dan mengetahui aktivitas belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 10 Medan yang berjumlah 3 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 kelas yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, yaitu kelas X MIPA-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning dan kelas X MIA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada dua, yaitu instrumen pertama tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk soal essay test yang telah divalidasi sebelumnya oleh 2 orang validator dan instrumen kedua observasi aktivitas belajar siswa. Dari analisa data untuk kelas eksperimen diperoleh bahwa nilai rata-rata pretes 28,4 dengan standar deviasi 5,7 dan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai rat-rata pretes 27,2 dan standar deviasi 6,03. Kemudian dilakukan uji hipotesis bahwa hasilnya menunjukkan kemampuan awal siswa dikelas eksperimen sama dengan dikelas kontrol. Setelah diberi perlakuan, bahwa kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan model Prablem Based Learning diperoleh nilai rata-rata psotes 81,8 dengan standar deviasi 5,6 dan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai postes 78,7 dengan standar deviasi 5,76. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model problem based learning berbeda dan menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional, dan aktivitas belajar siswa menggunakan model problem based learning meningkat setiap pertemuannya sehinga model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswaABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning learning models on student learning outcomes in momentum and impulse material in class X even semester 10 Medan SMA Negeri T.P 2018/2019 and find out the learning activities of students who are taught with problem based learning models of student learning outcomes.This type of research is quasi-experimental with a population of all students in class X of SMA 10 Medan, amounting to 3 classes. The study sample consisted of 2 classes determined by cluster random sampling technique, namely class X MIPA-2 as the experimental class using the problem based learning and X MIA 3 learning models as the control class using conventional learning. The instruments used in this study are two, namely the first instrument of learning outcomes tests in the form of essay test questions which have been previously validated by 2 validators and the second instrument is observation of student learning activities.From the data analysis for the experimental class it was found that the average value of the pretest was 28.4 with a standard deviation of 5.7 and in the control class the mean score was 27.2 and the standard deviation was 6.03. Then the hypothesis test was done that the results showed the students' initial ability in the experimental class was the same as the control class. After being treated, that the experimental class taught with the Prablem Based Learning model obtained an average psotes value of 81.8 with a standard deviation of 5.6 and the control class obtained a posttest score of 78.7 with a standard deviation of 5.76.The results showed that student learning outcomes using different problem based learning models and showed better results than conventional learning, and student learning activities using the problem based learning model increased each meeting so that problem based learning learning models can influence student learning outcomes.References
