Abstract : Implementation of Jigsaw Learning Model as Teacher Effort Increase Participation Learning to Understand Poetry Reading for Elementary School Grade VI. This study aims to find out how to implement the jigsaw learning model as an effort of teachers to increase the participation of learning to understand poetry reading for the students of class VI. The method used is classroom action research. The research process is done 2 cycles. The results of the second cycle study in reading Poetry were assessed to include aspects: the ability to read simple sentences increased to 36 people (72%), intonation aspects increased to 35 people (70.%), Pause aspect increased to 38 people (76.% , on the aspect of fluency increased to 41 people (82.%), Aspect understanding aspect increased to 45 people (90.%). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran jigsaw sebagai upaya guru untuk meningkatkan partisipasi belajar memahami pembacaan puisi bagi siswa kelas VI. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Proses penelitian dilakukan 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian pada siklus II dalam pembelajaran membaca Puisi yang dinilai meliputi aspek: kemampuan membaca kalimat sederhana meningkat menjadi 36 orang (72 %), aspek intonasi meningkat menjadi 35 orang (70.%) , aspek Jeda meningkat menjadi 38 orang (76.%), pada aspek kelancaran meningkat menjadi 41 orang (82.%), aspek Pemahaman makna meningkat menjadi 45 orang (90.%).Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Jigsaw, Prestasi BelajarDownloads
