Abstract: Implications of the Covid-19 Discourse on Instagram. This study aims to (1) Identify and explain the types of implicatures contained in the Covid-19 discourse on Instagram. (2) Identify and explain the function and purpose of the implications contained in the Covid-19 discourse on Instagram. This type of research is qualitative research. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data sources of this research are words, clauses, or sentences in disciplined photos on Instagram. Based on the data, it can be concluded that there are two types of implicatures on Instagram accounts, namely, conventional implicatures and conversational implicatures. Based on the data, there are three functions of implicature, namely: assertive, directive, and expressive.Key Word : Covid-19, Implication, Instagram.Abstrak : Implikatur Pada Wacana Covid-19 di Instagram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan jenis implikatur yang terdapat dalam wacana Covid-19 di Instagram. (2) Mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan fungsi dan maksud implikatur yang terdapat dalam wacana Covid-19 di Instagram. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu kata, klausa, atau kalimat pada foto yang berilmplikatur di Instagram. Berdasarkan data disimpulkan bahwa jenis implikatur yang terdapat pada akun Instagram ada dua jenis yaitu, implikatur konvensional dan implikatur percakapan. Berdasarkan data terdapat tiga fungsi implikatur, yaitu : asertif, direktif, dan ekspresif.Kata Kunci : Covid-19, Implikatur, Instagram.Downloads
