Abstrack: The Effect of Tendingeng On The Character Development Of ClassIv Students At Sdn 050760 Sendayan Kecamatan Babalan KabupatenLangkat. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 050760 Sendayan, BabalanDistrict, Langkat Regency. The sample in this study were all fourth grade students of SD Negeri 050760 Sendayan Babalan District, Langkat Regency which consisted of 21 students and the sampling technique used by the author was saturated sampling. The data collection tool used to determine the student's character was an questionnaire that had been tested for validation and reliability. From the data analysis, the results obtained at a significant level between storytelling and character education for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 050760 Sendayan. This is evidenced by obtaining tcount> ttable (8,478> 1,717) and the significance is 0,000 <0.05, which means that Ho is accepted, namely that storytelling does affect character education, so the author concludes that there is a significant effect of storytelling on the character development of fourth grade elementary school students. Keywords: Storytelling, Character Development.Abstrak: Pengaruh Mendongeng Terhadap Perkembangan Karakter SiswaKelas Iv Di Sdn 050760 Sendayan Kecamatan Babalan Kabupaten Langkat.Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 050760Sendayan Kecamatan BabalanKabupaten Langkat. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 050760Sendayan Kecamatan Babalan Kabupaten Langkat yang terdiri dari 21 siswa dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan oleh penulis adalah Sampling Jenuh. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui karakter siswa adalah angeket yang telah diuji Validasi dan Realibilitasnya.Dari analisis data diperoleh hasil pada taraf signifikan antara mendongeng terhadap pendidikan karakter siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 050760 Sendayan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peroleh thitung > ttabel (8,478 > 1,717) dan signifikansinya 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti Ho diterima yaitu bahwa Mendongeng memang berpengaruh terhadap pendidikan karakter, sehingga Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari mendongeng terhadap perkembangan karakter siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 050760Sendayan Kecamatan Babalan Kabupaten Langkat.Kata Kunci: Mendongeng, Perkembangan Karakter.Downloads
