Abstract: Improving Student Learning Outcomes Through Constructivism Model in the Subject of Global Warming Science Subjects in Class IX Middle School. This study aims to determine the use of constructivism learning models in improving student learning outcomes in Global Warming material in Class IX-1 SMPN 5 Percut Sei Tuan TP 2018/2019. This type of research is a classroom action teacher (Action Research) using the Constructivism Learning Model. The research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle is two meetings, consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subjects in this study were students of Class IX-1 SMPN 5 Percut Sei Tuan with a total of 21 people. The results show that the application of the Constructivism Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes on the subject of Global Warming. And by using the Constructivism Learning Model students are more enthusiastic, active in learning, not bored and free to experiment the material being taught.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Constructivism, Global Warming, Science.Abstrak: Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Melalui Model Konstruktivisme Pada Pokok Bahasan Pemanasan Global Mata Pelajaran IPA di Kelas IX SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan model pembelajaran Konstruktivisme dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Pemanasan Global di Kelas IX-1 SMPN 5 Percut Sei Tuan TP 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah guruan Tindakan Kelas (Action Research) dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Konstruktivisme. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus dua kali pertemuan, yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas IX-1 SMPN 5 Percut Sei Tuan dengan jumlah 21 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Model Pembelajaran Konstruktivisme dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Pemanasan Global. Dan dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Konstruktivisme siswa lebih bersemangat,aktif dalam belajar, tidak bosan dan bebas melakukan percobaan materi yang diajarkan.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Konstruktivism, Pemanasan Global, IPA.Downloads
