PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ADVANCE ORGANIZER TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI POKOK BESARAN DAN SATUAN

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  hasil  belajar  siswa  dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw pada materi pokok Alat Optik di kelas VIII Semester II SMP Negeri 5 Binjai  Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Jenis  penelitian  ini  adalah  penelitian  quasi  eksperimen  dengan  desain  two  group postest  design.  Populasi  seluruh  siswa  kelas  VIII  yang  terdiri  dari  6  kelas   dan sampel  penelitian  diambil  2  kelas  yang  ditentukan  dengan  teknik  random sampling.  Instrumen  yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar siswa dalam bentuk pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 soal dengan 4 pilihan jawaban yang telah divalidasi. Kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw.  Pada  proses  pembelajaran  kelas  eksperimen,  aktivitas  siswa  tergolong aktif sebesar 82,5. Dari hasil uji hipótesis dengan uji t diperoleh ada  pengaruh  signifikan  dari  penerapan model  pembelajaran  kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Alat Optik di kelas VIII semester II SMP Negeri 5 Binjai T.P 2012/2013. Kata  Kunci: model  pembelajaran  kooperatif  tipe jigsaw   ABSTRACT This  study  aims  to  determine  the  learning  outcomes  of  students  using cooperative  learning  model  Jigsaw  in  the  subject  matter  Optics  in  class  VIII Semester II SMP Negeri 5 Binjai Academic Year 2012/2013. Type of research is a  quasi  experimental  design  with  two  groups  posttest  design.  The  entire population  of  eighth  grade  students  consisting  of  6  classes  and  research  samples taken  2  classes  are  determined  by  random  sampling  technique.  The  instrument used  was  a  test  of  student  learning  outcomes  in  the  form  of  20  multiple-choice questions with four possible answers that have been validated. Experimental class was  given  treatment  with  Jigsaw  cooperative  learning  model.  In  the  learning process the experimental class, student activities quite active at 82.5. From the test results of the t test of the hypothesis can be  concluded that there is significant influence of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject matter appliance optics in the second semester of eighth grade SMP Negeri 5 Binjai TP 2012/2013.   Keywords: jigsaw  cooperative learning model
