THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE WITH DISCIPLINE STUDENT LEARNING IN SMK NEGERI 1 SIABU KABUPATEN MANDAILING NATAL

Abstract: Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence With Discipline of Student Learning In SMK Negeri 1 Siabu Mandailing Natal. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Emotional Intelligence with Discipline of Students SMK Negeri 1 Siabu Mandailing NatalAcademic Year 2016/2017. This research is correlational research. The population in this study is amounted 48 people. The sample used is population sample. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires. The results showed that partially Emotional Intelligence (X) has a correlation on the category high enough with Discipline Learning (Y) with r value of 0.716 and has a significant relationship because > is 6.959> 2.013. The research results can be concluded there is a close relationship between Emotional Intelligence with Discipline of Learning SMK Negeri 1 Siabu Mandailing Natal Academic Year 2016/2017. Keywords : Emotional Intelligence, and Student Learning Discipline Abstrak : Hubungan Antara Kecerdasan Emosional Dengan Kedisiplinan Belajar Siswa Di SMK Negeri 1 Siabu Mandailing Natal.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Kecerdasan Emosional dengan Kedisiplinan Belajar Siswa SMK Negeri 1 Siabu Mandailing Natal Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Siabu Mandailing Natal Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 48 orang.Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel populasi.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket. Hasil penelitian menunujukkan bahwa secara parsial Kecerdasan Emosional (X) memiliki korelasi pada kategori cukup tinggi dengan Kedisiplinan Belajar (Y) dengan nilai r 0,716 dan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan karena > yaitu 6,959 > 2,013.Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan yang erat antara Kecerdasan Emosional dengan Kedisiplinan Belajar Siswa SMK Negeri 1 Siabu Mandailing Natal Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.
