Abstract : Enhancement Equipment Of Understanding About Students About Global Methods Assisted Media Images And Tools In First Class I SD. The research objective was to description be measures of global methods to improving the ability reading comprehension of grade I SDN Tegalrejo school year 2017/2018 and improve students reading comprehension through the implementation of a global method. The subject of research are 27 students. Data collection techniques used in this research is the technique of test and non-test. Data analysis was conducted using a comparative descriptive analysis by comparing the results of learning prasiklus, cycle 1 and cycle 2,. The results showed that the method can global ability in students reading comprehension class I SDN Tegalrejo. This is evidenced by the percentage of classical results reading comprehension prasiklus of 63.88% experienced an increase in cycle I became of 78.15% and then increased back in cycle II with a percentage of 86.67% classical completeness. Research results can be concluded that the application of the global methods can improve the ability of reading comprehension grade I SDN Tegalrejo. Keywords : Global Method, Reading Comprehension, Picture, Props Abstrak : Upaya Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemahaman Membaca Siswa Melalui Metode Global Berbantuan Media Gambar Dan Alat Peraga Pada Siswa Kelas I SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah metode global dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman membaca siswa kelas I SDN Tegalrejo Semester I Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 dan meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman membaca siswa melalui penerapan metode global. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 27 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes dan non tes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif komparatif dengan membandingkan hasil belajar prasiklus, siklus 1, dan siklus 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode global dapat kemampuan pemahaman membaca pada siswa kelas I SDN Tegalrejo. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan persentase klasikal hasil pemahaman membaca prasiklus sebesar 63,88% mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I menjadi sebesar 78,15% dan kemudian mengalami peningkatan kembali pada siklus II dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 86,67%. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode global dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman membaca siswa kelas I SDN Tegalrejo.
