PENGGUNAAN MEDIA ADOBE FLASH PADA PEMBELAJARAN KESEBANGUNAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA SMP NEGERI 7 MEDAN

Abstract : The Use of Adobe Flash Media in Cognitive Learning in Improving Problem Solving Ability Mathematics Students SMP Negeri 7 Medan. This study aims to see the improvement of students' math problem solving skills. The study population of students of SMP Negeri 7 Medan with the smallest sample unit of class IX-4 as the experimental group taught using adobe flash media amounting to 42 students and class IX-6 as a control group taught using conventional media commonly amounted to 38 students. The results of SPSS 17 showed both groups of samples distributed normally and homogeneously. The N-Gain experiments were 0.757 (high category) and N-Gain of control group 0,515 (medium category). The generalization process is carried out with inferential statistics of different tests through t-test techniques. The output of SPSS shows Sig. Of 0.001 so that the rejection occurs H0. Keywords : Learning Media, Adobe Flash Media, Mathematical Problem Solving Skill Abstrak : Penggunaan Media Adobe Flash pada Pembelajaran Kesebangunan dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa SMP Negeri 7 Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Populasi penelitian siswa SMP Negeri 7 Medan dengan unit sampel terkecil kelas IX-4 sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang diajarkan menggunakan media adobe flash yang berjumlah 42 siswa dan kelas IX-6 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang diajarkan menggunakan media konvensional biasa yang berjumlah 38 siswa. Hasil luaran SPSS 17 menunjukkan kedua kelompok sampel berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Kemudian dianalisis peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah menggunakan gain ternormalisasi (N-Gain) dan diperoleh N-Gain kelompok eksperimen adalah 0,757 (kategori tinggi) dan N-Gain kelompok kontrol 0,515 (kategori sedang). Proses generalisasi dilakukan dengan statistik inferensial uji beda melalui teknik uji-t. Hasil luaran SPSS menunjukkan Sig. sebesar 0,001 sehingga terjadi penolakan H0.
