Abstract: Practical Review of Poetry Writing Skills Upgrading With Plus Thinking Strategy In Grade V Elementary School. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of poetry writing skill through thought strategy plus in class V Elementary School (SD). Teaching to write poetry is not just about language skills, it also deals with extracting feelings, norms, and aesthetic values in the form of language media. Therefore, a plus thought strategy is one of the learning strategies that is able to condition students to write poetry by involving extracting feelings, norms, and aesthetic values as has been disclosed. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the subject of research class V SD 10 Lembah Melintang Pasaman Barat Regency. The results showed that the plus thought strategy was able to improve the students' skill in writing poetry in class V SD. Keywords : Poetry Writing, Plus Thinking, Elementary Student Abstrak : Kajian Praktis Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Puisi Dengan Strategi Pikir Plus Di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi melalui strategi pikir plus di kelas V Sekolah Dasar (SD). Mengajarkan menulis puisi bukan hanya berkaitan dengan kemampuan menggunakan bahasa, tetapi juga berhubungan dengan penggalian perasaan, norma, dan nilai-nilai estetika dalam bentuk media bahasa. Oleh sebab itu, strategi pikir plus merupakan salah satu strategi belajar yang mampu mengondisikan siswa menulis puisi dengan melibatkan penggalian perasaan, norma, dan nilai-nilai estetika seperti yang telah diungkapkan. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian kelas V SD 10 Lembah Melintang Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pikir plus mampu meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis puisi di kelas V SD. Kata Kunci : Menulis Puisi, Pikir Plus, Siswa SDDownloads
