Abstract: Improving The Ability Of Speaking Students In Learning English Using Active Learning Strategy In Grade V SD Negeri 106150 Tandam Hulu I. Subjects in this classroom action research are V grade 27 students consisting of 18 male students and 9 students Women in SD Negeri 106150 Tandam Hulu I. The results showed that from 27 students of grade V SD Negeri 106150 Tandam Hulu I speaking ability (speaking) students on the initial condition there are 24 students have not been completed in the ability to speak with percentage 88.89% and 3 Students who are finished in the ability to speak with a percentage of 11.11% with an average value of 18. Keywords: Active Learning Strategy Improving Student Speaking Ability Abstrak: Meningkatan Kemampuan Berbicara Siswa Pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Menggunakan Strategi Active Learning Di Kelas V SD Negeri 106150 Tandam Hulu I. Subjek dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 27orang siswa yang terdiri dari 18 orang siswa laki-laki dan 9 orang siswa perempuan di SD Negeri 106150 Tandam Hulu I. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 27 orang siswa kelas V SD Negeri 106150 Tandam Hulu I kemampuan berbicara (speaking) siswa pada kondisi awal terdapat 24 orang siswa belum tuntas dalam kemampuan berbicara dengan persentase 88,89% dan 3 orang siswa yang tuntas dalam kemampuan bericara dengan persentase 11,11% dengan nilai rata-rata 18.
