Abstract: Effect of Parenting Permissive Parent Against Character Building of Youth Responsibility in Simardan Island Village Datuk Bandar Timur Balai Peninsula. This study aims to determine the effect of parental permissive parenting on the formation of the character of adolescent responsibilities in Simardan Island Urban Datuk Bandar Timur Tanjung Balai. A sample of 40 people were drawn at random from 400 adolescents as a population. The data collection tool used was questionnaire. Data was analyzed by using simple linear regression formula and t test for hypothesis test. Based on data processing with simple linear regression obtained by equations of linear grading is Ŷ = 7,91 + 0,556X. The results of the hypothesis show the count (>)> t_tableyaitu2,50> 1,697. Artinyater can influence parenting permissif parents against the formation of the character of adolescent responsibility in Simardan Island Urban Datuk Bandar Timur Tanjung Balai.Keywords: Permissive Parenting Pattern, Responsibility Character, Adolescent Abstrak: Pengaruh Pola Asuh Permisif Orang Tua Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Tanggung Jawab Remaja Di Kelurahan Pulau Simardan Datuk Bandar Timur Tanjung Balai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh permisif orang tua terhadap pembentukan karakter tanggung jawab remaja di Kelurahan Pulau Simardan Datuk Bandar Timur Tanjung Balai. Sampel sebanyak 40 orang yang diambil secara acak dari 400 remaja sebagai populasi. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket.Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan formula regresi linier sederhana dan Uji t untuk uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan pengolahan data dengan regresi linier sederhana diperoleh persamaan regresi linier adalah Ŷ= 7,91 + 0,556X. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai > yaitu 2,50> 1,697. Artinya terdapat pengaruh pola asuh permissif orang tua terhadap pembentukan karakter tanggung jawab remaja di Kelurahan Pulau Simardan Datuk Bandar Timur Tanjung Balai.
