UPAYA PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PELAJARAN EKONOMI KELAS X-A MELALUI MODEL STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN SIKLUS BELAJAR (LC) DI SMA NEGERI 1 KOTA TEBING TINGGI

Strategi dan pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan strategi penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) sebanyak dua siklus. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 35 siswa. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini adalah: (1) Model pembelajaran secara konvensional kurang maksimal dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran dan prestasi belajar siswa. (2) Model strategi pembelajaran siklus belajar (LC) pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dapat: (a) meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dengan rata-rata prestasi belajar di kelas adalah 76,71; jumlah siswa yang tuntas mencapai 33 siswa dari 35 siswa (94,28%), sedangkan yang tidak tuntas hanya 2 siswa (6,71%); dan (b) meningkatkan kualitas kepribadian siswa, khususnya menyangkut aspek: kerjasama; Inisiatif diri; keseriusan; keterlibatan diri; dan Sikap tanggung jawab.
