PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SEJARAH MELALUI METODE PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER (NHT) SISWA KELAS XI IPS2 SMA NEGERI 1 TEBING TINGGI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa (2) Meningkatkan prestasi belajar Sejarah siswa kelas. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan adalah teknik analisis data statistik deskriptif dan deskriptif kualitatif dengan membandingkan kondisi awal dengan hasil observasi dan refleksi pada siklus I, II dan siklus III. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Metode pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa (2) Metode pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Sejarah siswa. Pada akhir siklus III, jumlah siswa yang telah tuntas atau berhasil memperoleh nilai 70 sesuai KKM sebanyak 28 siswa atau sebesar 93,33%.
