Abstract : Efforts to Improve Skills of Teachers of Mathematics SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung Morawa Through Mentoring Making Viewer Tool On Forum MGMP. This study aims to improve the skills of math teachers in making and using props. The problem in this research is a math teacher skill in making and using props low. Subjects in this study are math teachers being the object is props mathematics. This research was conducted for 3 months through 2 cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that the initial conditions of teachers were measured by means of observation in the form of APKG I seen that none of the teachers that include props in its RPP. In the first cycle, the teacher is to include the planned use of learning media props in its RPP. While on the second cycle after guiding through MGMPs forum, all teachers have been able to make one piece of different props and present. The next step, researchers recommended in implementing learning (math teacher) to share in their knowledge and skills in making and using props. Keywords: Viewer tool, Skill, MGMPs Abstrak : Upaya Meningkatkan Keterampilan Guru Matematika SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung Morawa Melalui Pembimbingan Pembuatan Alat Peraga Pada Forum MGMP. Bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru matematika dalam membuat dan menggunakan alat peraga. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan guru matematika dalam membuat dan menggunakan alat peraga rendah. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah guru matematika sedang objeknya adalah alat peraga matematika. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 3 bulan melalui 2 siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi awal guru yang diukur dengan alat observasi berupa APKG I terlihat bahwa tidak ada satupun guru yang mencantumkan alat peraga dalam RPP-nya. Pada siklus I, guru sudah mencantumkan rencana penggunaan media pembelajaran alat peraga dalam RPP-nya. Sedangkan pada siklus II setelah dilakukan pembimbingan melalui forum MGMP, seluruh guru sudah mampu membuat 1 buah alat peraga yang berbeda dan mempresentasikannya. Langkah selanjutnya, peneliti merekomendasikan pada pelaksana pembelajaran (guru matematika) untuk saling berbagi dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka dalam membuat dan menggunakan alat peraga.
