UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN SOAL CERITA DALAM PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MELALUI METODE CTL PADA SISWA KELAS X-1 DI SMA NEGERI 1 TEBING TINGGI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang materi SPLDV Penelitian dilakukan selama 5 bulan mulai dari Juli 2015 sampai akhir bulan November 2015. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 36 siswa. Data kondisi awal memiliki nilai rata-rata 66,7 pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa menjadi 75, dan pada siklus II menjadi 84,44. Meningkatnya nilai rata-rata siswa dari kondisi awal, siklus I, dan siklus II mengindikasikan terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang materi SPLDV, hal ini terjadi karena peneliti memberi tindakan berupa model pembelajaran contextual teuaching and learning (CTL) dengan pendekatan memberkan ragam soal cerita SPLDV. Kenyataan ini membuktikan bahwa dengan model pembalajaran CTL dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV) Kata kunci : Contextual teaching and learning (CTL), sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV)Downloads
