PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN REALISTIC MATHEMATIC EDUCATION (RME) SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DI KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Realistik matematik education (RME) merupakan suatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan realita dan lingkungan sebagai upaya memperlancar proses pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Prosedur penelitian meliputi, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengaatan/observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus 1 yang masih pada kategori cukup, sehingga mengharuskan untuk melanjutkan penelitian ke siklus II. Pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa secara berturut-turut meningkat menjadi 83,66%, 81, 45% dan 79,37. Sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pendekatan RME dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
