Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of literacy activities reading folklore on the inculcation of the value of loving the motherland in Tanjung Harapan Batubara Elementary School 19. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method involving 40 students as a research sample. The results showed that literacy activities reading folklore had a positive and significant influence on instilling the value of loving the motherland in students. It is hoped that literacy activities reading folklore will be an alternative approach to strengthening student character in developing a sense of love for the motherland. This research makes an important contribution to the development of character education and more creative learning methods at the elementary level.Keyword: Literacy Activities, Reading Folktales, Elementary School, Love For The Homeland Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh kegiatan literasi membaca cerita rakyat terhadap penanaman nilai cinta tanah air di Sekolah Dasar 19 Tanjung Harapan Batubara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen semu melibatkan 40 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan literasi membaca cerita rakyat memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penanaman nilai cinta tanah air pada siswa. Diharapkan kegiatan literasi membaca cerita rakyat menjadi alternatif pendekatan untuk memperkuat karakter siswa dalam mengembangkan rasa cinta tanah air. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan pendidikan karakter dan metode pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif di tingkat dasar.Kata Kunci: Kegiatan Literasi, Membaca Cerita Rakyat, Sekolah Dasar, Cinta Tanah Air
