ABSTRACT: Teachers' Efforts in Teaching Social Skills to Students During the Implementation of Home Learning (BDR) During the Covid-19 PandemicThe purpose of this study was to describe the efforts made by teachers in teaching social skills to students during the implementation of Learning From Home (BDR) during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used triangulation, namely a questionnaire to obtain data from students and parents. Observation to get data on teacher activity observations. And interviews to get data from teachers. The subjects of this study were students, guardians, and teachers of class 2A Al- Kautsar SD Muhammadiyah 29 Surabaya. The data obtained is reduced, then presented and conclusions drawn/verified. The results of the research carried out can be concluded that the efforts made by the teacher in teaching social skills are (1) motivating and making games to get to know each other, (2) stimulating students to also share information, (3) making rules at the beginning of learning, (4) getting students used to so that they can speak softly and politely, (5) provide support so they can help their friends to be confident in expressing their opinions, (6) familiarize and direct students to respect when someone is talking.Keywords : covid-19, learning from home, social skills.ABSTRAK : Upaya Guru Dalam Mengajarakan Keterampilan Sosial Pada Siswa Saat Pelaksanaan Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengajarkan keterampilan sosial pada siswa saat pelaksanaan Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan triangulasi, yaitu angket untuk mendapatkan data dari siswa dan walimurid. Observasi untuk mendapatkan data pengamatan aktivitas guru. Dan wawancara untuk mendapatkan data dari guru. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa, walimuri, dan guru kelas 2A Al-Kautsar SD Muhammadiyah 29 Surabaya. Data yang diperoleh direduksi, kemudian disajikan dan ditarik kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengajarkan keterampilan sosial adalah (1) memberi motivasi dan membuat permainan saling mengenal, (2) menstimulus siswa agar juga berbagi informasi, (3) membuat peraturan diawal pembelajaran, (4) membiasakan siswa agar dapat berbicara lembut dan sopan, (5) memberikan support agar dapat membantu temannya untuk percaya diri mengemukakan pendapat, (6) membiasakan dan mengarahkan siswa agar menghormati jika ada yang sedang berbicara.Katakunci : belajar dari rumah, covid-19, keterampilan sosial.Downloads
