Abstract : Implementation of Strengthening Character Education for The Second Grade Students of Muhammadiyah 29 Surabaya Elementary School In the Era of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia caused the learning system to be changed remotely to "Distance Learning". Changes in the learning system certainly have several impacts. This study aims to describe the implementation of strengthening character education through distance learning. This research method uses descriptive qualitative with technical data collection using triangulation, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique of this research uses data reduction, data presentation, data presentation and verification. The results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that from the five aspects studied there are three sub-aspects that are not implemented properly including discipline, task collection, student independence in mentoring during learning, and facility constraints when carrying out learning. The suggestions for researcher are to increase the indicators in observing students character during distance learning.Keywords : Character, Covid-19, Distance LearningAbstrak : Implementasi Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) Pada Siswa SD Muhammadiyah 29 Surabaya Kelas II di Era Pandemi Covid-19. Dampak pandemi covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia menyebabkan sistem pembelajaran diubah secara jarak jauh menjadi œPembelajaran Jarak Jauh. Perubahan sistem pembelajaran tentunya menimbulkan beberapa dampak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui pembejaran jarak jauh. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknis pengambilan data menggunakan triangulasi yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari lima aspek yang diteliti terdapat tiga sub aspek yang kurang terlaksana dengan baik diantaranya kedisiplinan pengumpulan tugas, kemandirian siswa dalam pendampingan saat pembelajaran, dan kendala fasilitas saat melakukan pembelajaran. Adapun saran untuk peneliti agar lebih memperbanyak indikator dalam observasi karakter siswa saat pembelajaran jarak jauh.Katakunci : Covid-19, Karakter, Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh.Downloads
