PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER PADA BIDANG STUDI IPA MATERI GETARAN DAN GELOMBANG DI KELAS VIII-4 SMP NEGERI 7 MEDAN

Penelitian dilakukan dengan dua siklus dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together. Bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada bidang studi IPA. Penerapan model dilaksanakan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas selama dua siklus dengan dua kali pertemuan (KBM) setiap siklusnya. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII-4 yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Pada siklus II ketuntasan klasikal 88,57% dan rata-rata kelas 81. Data aktivitas belajar siswa siklus I antara lain: aktivitas menulis,membaca 42%, aktivitas mengerjakan LKS 28,5%, bertanya sesama teman 5,5%, bertanya kepada guru 9,5% dan yang tidak relevan dengan KBM 14,5%. Data aktivitas belajar siswa siklus II antara lain: menulis,membaca 23,5%, aktivitas mengerjakan LKS 48,5%, bertanya sesama teman 10,5%, bertanya kepada guru 7% dan yang tidak relevan dengan KBM 10,5%.
