PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN METODE ROLE PLAY TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI BABARSARI YOGYAKARTA

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas IV di SDN Babarsari Yogyakarta disebabkan guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah yang berpusat pada guru. Dengan metode role play, siswa dituntut ikut terlibat secara langsung sesuai skenario yang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment) dengan disain kelompok kontrol non ekuivalen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan non tes (wawancara, observasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh penggunaan metode role play terhadap prestasi belajar IPS yang terlihat dari hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa prestasi siswa yang belajar dengan metode role play rata- rata 20.00 lebih tinggi daripada prestasi siswa yang belajar dengan metode konvensional (17.15) Kata kunci: prestasi belajar, IPS, metode role playDownloads
