Abstract: The Effect of Contextual Teaching And Learning Model (CTL) on Critical Thinking Ability of Grade V Students of SD Negeri 105292 Bandar Klippa. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of CTL learning model on students' critical thinking ability. The type of research is experimental research with pretest-posttest control group research design. The research population is 40 students. Data collection using test. Data analysis techniques use normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. The results showed the average value of pretest 47.7 and posttest 75.7 for the experimental class whereas for the control class the pretest average value 54.6 while the posttest 56.56. In the experimental class, 4 students (20%) showed very high critical thinking skills, 9 students (45%) critical thinking skills, 6 students (30%) moderate critical thinking skills, 1 student (5%) low critical thinking ability . Then in the control class there were 4 students (20%) showed very high critical thinking ability, 2 students (10%) critical thinking ability, 7 students (35%) moderate critical thinking skills, 7 students (35%) critical thinking ability low. From the results of t-test calculations obtained t count> ttable where the value of t count = 9.62 and ttable value at 5% significance level is 1.686. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran CTL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian control grup pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 40 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pretest 47,7 dan posttest 75,7 untuk kelas eksperimen sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata pretest 54,6 sedangkan posttest 56,56. Terdapat di kelas eksperimen sebanyak 4 siswa (20%) menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis sangat tinggi, 9 siswa (45%) kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi, 6 siswa (30%) kemampuan berpikir kritis sedang, 1 siswa (5%) kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah. Kemudian di kelas kontrol terdapat sebanyak 4 siswa (20%) menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis sangat tinggi, 2 siswa (10%) kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi, 7 siswa (35%) kemampuan berpikir kritis sedang, 7 siswa (35%) kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah. Dari hasil perhitungan uji-t didapatkan thitung > ttabel dimana besar nilai thitung= 9,62 dan nilai ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% adalah 1,686.
