Abstract
Musik beatbox adalah seni menriru bunyi. Musik beatbox merupakan salah satu bentuk seni yang memfokuskan diri dalam menghasilkan bunyi seperti ketukan drum, instrumen musik maupun tiruan bunyi lainnya. Musik yang dihasilkan berasal dari alat ucap manusia yaitu mulut, lidah, bibir, dan rongga ucap lainnya. Orang-orang yang mahir dan menguasai musik beatbox disebut beatboxer. Komunitas Gendang Mulut terdiri dari para beatboxer yang aktif dalam mengembangkan musik beatbox khususnya di kota Medan. Mengenalkan serta memopulerkan musik beatbox dengan menampilkan musik beatbox diberbagai acara. Mempopulerkan musik beatbox melalui sosial media dilakukan komunitas Gendang Mulut untuk memopulerkan musik beatbox serta memperkenalkankan komunitas Gendang Mulut sehingga keberadaan komunitas Gendang Mulut diketahui masyarakat.
