MODEL TGT BERBASIS KARTU SOAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TARI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BELAJAR SISWA SEKOLAH MENEGAH PERTAMA

ABSTRACT This study is behind the background by low learning ability of students in the process of dance learning Cek Minah Sayang, this marks the students below KKM average of 75, and so the way a teacher performs conventional learning is the method of speech alone. The purpose of this research is to describe the model of the learning Team Games Tournament question card on dance learning Cek Minah Sayang in an effort to improve the students™ learning ability at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Utara. The method in this study utilizes quantitative precision using M. Fathurrohman™s model of study theory that contains model steps Team Games Tournament, the kind of research is Quasi Experimental Design a pretest-postest Group Design. The instrument of study used an objective test in the from of essay 10 problems the have already been tested for validation of item items. From our research, for the experiment class, the average pretest score is 46,67 and the average postest is 90. The average pretest control class is 34,67 and postest average is 67,34. Students learning skills are enhanced by modeling Team Games Tournament question card is 80% whereas students™ learning skills are taught without using models Team Games Tournament cards based on 47%. Data obtained through test analysis t is tcount> ttable (3,580> 1,694) HO rejected and Ha accepted is that there is a difference in the results of a students™ learing ability after establishing a model of learning Team Games Tournament question card about students SMP. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran tari Cek Minah Sayang, hal ini ditandai dengan nilai rata-rata siswa dibawah KKM yaitu 75, demikian pula cara guru melaksanakan pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional yaitu metode ceramah saja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament Berbasis Kartu Soal pada pembelajaran tari Cek Minah Sayang dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Utara. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teori model pembelajaran M. Fathurrohman yang mengandung langkah-langkah model Team Games Tournament, jenis penelitiannya adalah Quasi Experimental Design yaitu Pretest-Posttest Group Design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes objektif dalam bentuk essay berjumlah 10 soal yang sudah diuji validasi butir item. Dari hasil penelitian, untuk kelas eksperimen diproleh nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 46,67 dan nilai rata-rata posttes sebesar 90. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pretest kelas kontrol sebesar 34,67 dan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 67,34. Peningkatan kemampuan belajar siswa yang diberikan pembelajaran dengan model Team Games Tournament Berbasis Kartu Soal yaitu 80% sedangkan kemampuan belajar siswa yang diajarkan tanpa menggunakan model Team Games Tournament Berbasis Kartu Soal yaitu 47%. Data yang diperoleh dengan analisis uji t yaitu thitung > ttabel (3,580 > 1,694) Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yaitu ada perbedaan hasil kemampuan belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament Berbasis Kartu Soal pada siswa SMP.
