Tapanuli Selatan adalah salah satu Kabupaten yang berada di wilayah Propinsi Sumatera Utara. Etnis yang berasal dari kabupaten ini disebut etnis Batak Mandailing, yang memiliki berbagai kegiatan adat. Horja godang adalah sebuah pesta adat upacara perkawinan masyarakat Tapanuli Selatan, dimana aktifitas kesenian disertakan (margondang) yang disertai dengan manortor (menari). Tortor yang ditarikan pada kegiatan ini ada beberapa tahap yaitu tortor Suhut Bolon, Tortor Kahanggi, Tortor Anak Boru, Tortor Raja-raja Torbing Balok, Tortor Panusunan Bulung, Tortor Naposo Nauli Bulung, dan Tortor Manora Pule. Pada penyajiannya, panortor ditentukan oleh system kekerabatan (dalihan na tolu) termasuk urutan tortor yang harus dilakukan. Kata kunci : tor-tor, horja godang, margondangDownloads
