Uji Fisis Bahan Isolator Listrik Berbasis Keramik Porselin Alumina

Abstrak Telah dilakukan Fabrikasi pengaruh komposisi alumina untuk pembuatan keramik alumina porselin sebagai bahan isolator listrik. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah campuran dari Kaolin , Kuarsa , Feldsfar dan Alumina (Produk Jerman, 99%), dimana komposisi alumina divariasikan yaitu 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% dan 20% berat total seluruh bahan. Suhu pembakaran divariasikan yaitu 1100oC, 1200oC, 1300oC, 1400oC dan 1500oC, pada masing-masing suhu ditahan selama 2 jam. Berdasarkan pengujian densitas, porositas, dan termal ekspansi, terlihat bahwa persentase alumina memberikan pengaruh terhadap sifat fisis keramik alumina.
