Penelitian Pemanfaatan tumbuhan palem berkhasiat obat oleh masyarakat Aceh di Kecamatan Gandapura, telah dilaksanakan dari bulan januari sampai bulan April 2014. Untuk mengetahui informasi mengenai pemanfaatan tumbuhan sebagai obat oleh masyarakat di kawasan ini telah dilakukan penggalian terhadap pengetahuan yang ada di masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner, wawancara semi terstruktur dan bebas mendalam (open ended) pada berbagai kelompok umur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 7 jenis untuk pengobatan tradisional, jenis tersebut yaitu Bak Jok (Arenga pinnata), bak Pineng (Areca catechu), bak Teue (Borassus flabellifer), bak Iboh (Corypha utan), bak U (Cocos nucifera), bak Meria (Metroxylon sagu), dan bak Lipah (Nypa fruticans).Downloads
